5 Ways to Remove Stickers

Stickers can be notoriously hard to remove from a variety of different surfaces. Here are 5 tips to help you remove the pesky stickers.

  1. To remove stickers from a Glass or Plastic object, mix a solution of warm water and baking soda. Then soak the object for around 30 minutes. After wiping with some tissue remove the sticker if it hasn’t already fallen off.
  2. Another tip if you need the sticker removed quicker is to use a hairdryer on the sticker for approximately 30 seconds and then the sticker should curl in the corners and make it much easier to peel.
  3. WD-40 can be a helpful tool in many situations, including sticky ones. For this tip, you need to spray WD-40 on the sticker and allow it to soak. After it has socked in you should be able to remove the sticker with a cloth.
  4. Wood can be a stubborn surface to remove stickers, however, if you apply a few drops of cooking oil or vinegar to the sticker and let it sit for a few minutes, the sticker will be much easier to remove when you wipe it with a cloth.
  5. If you still have a small amount of sticky residue left on any item you can use a pencil eraser to rub off any residue left.
