If you own a business in London then you might know there are many commercial cleaners and office cleaners in the city. You may not know that there are some specific cleaning services available to you, though. Just do a simple online search for cleaning services in London to discover a wide variety of services offered by numerous cleaning companies.

There are more than just office cleaners; there are also cleaners for pubs, shops, restaurants, warehouses, and other commercial businesses. These dedicated companies provide daily cleaning programmes, as well as those that are less frequent. The advertisements noted that you could opt in for carpet dusting, window cleaning, upholstery cleaning, or speciality options. Many of the companies offer hard to reach options for both indoor and outdoor needs.

The best part about the process and the professionally tailored service is their dedication to offer an affordable solution that is both professional and efficient. One such commercial cleaning company has made it their mission to offer the best employees they can staff. Their staff is not only skilled in cleaning, but they have also had the proper training in safety and health. Restaurants for example require that you clean surfaces and the sitting area to certain codes. A failure to keep a restaurant clean can be detrimental.

Hiring a professional cleaning staff through commercial cleaners in London ensures your business’s cleanliness for many years to come. You can also feel safe in knowing that no matter where they are cleaning, even in the harder to access regions, all areas will be given the same priority unless otherwise instructed. Professionalism is imperative in any business. The professionally trained staff of these institutions understands this; therefore they offer you uniformed staff who will work around your needs. Whatever is convenient for you as the client will also be convenient for the office cleaners of Wokingham.

If you want more proof that the commercial cleaners in London are what you desire all you have to do is look at their business references and testimonials of their clients. Look no further than London for your commercial cleaners. London simply has the proper staff and office cleaners you require for your building in the city. It does not matter if you require car park and washroom cleaning or other maintenance, the commercial cleaning companies in London are there for you.

With highly trained staff to work quickly, without damaging any of your property. However, if an unfortunate event does occur you can feel content knowing the office cleaners in London will take care of your tidiness needs.

The recession has his business hard and cut-backs have been inevitable. The logical start to cutting out unnecessary costs may seem like cutting out office cleaning and indeed that has been the case for many UK businesses. A recent survey of 1,000 workers by support service firm resource showed that 2 in 5 firms have cut back on office cleaning and other maintaining services since late 2008 when the economy began its biggest downturn.

However this shouldn’t be the case, not least because of your personal welfare, as research figures indicate that an increase in sickness absence correlates with businesses that have cut back on cleaning their offices. Which shouldn’t come as a surprise, since a lack of general cleanliness invariably leads to a spread of germs that cause illness.

Esther Wassmann, managing director of Resource GB, said: “Understandably, businesses are looking to reduce overheads, however neglecting proper cleaning and maintenance will only add to the cost of sickness absence during the recession.” And went on to stress the responsibilities managers have to protect employee wellbeing.

While the spread of germs is entirely invisible to the human eye, general clutter and mess isn’t. Half the participants’ polls said they had become conscious of what clients would think of their offices as the result of cleaning and maintenance cuts.

Wassmann also asserted that: ”Legally, employers have a duty of care to provide employees with a safe working place, so the fact that so many people consider their workplace unsafe and their colleagues dangerous is very worrying.”

The studies go to show what some businesses take for granted: a clean and tidy office. Because without it, businesses can suffer in terms of staff health and a loss of credibility from potential and current clients – which are in many ways, absolutely priceless.

Another point that should be highlighted from this study is that despite economic downturns certain services can not be avoid or reduced. Take office cleaning for instance, what would new prospects think if they walk into a messy office with papers all over the place, desks cluttered with dust and all sorts of things. What would you think if you were to hire a service from someone that is not capable of organizing its on work place? Exactly, you wouldn’t right?

Use this article as an reference next time you are thinking in cutting down costs and avoid make the mistakes many make. Some services are essential for the well being of your company and its work place.

Cleaning is essential for maintaining hygiene and health. We clean our offices and homes to remove dust and germs, and it also makes us feel good, no one likes to stay in a dirty, untidy mess. Different cleaning processes and endless varieties of cleaning products are available for office or home use.

It has been proven for some time that some commercial cleaning products can pose threat to your health. According to scientists and physicians, strong chemical compounds used in cleaning products can cause different dermatological and respiratory problems for people and that’s why people are opting for green cleaning.

Indeed, green cleaning is the ideal form of cleaning which does not involve the use of any chemical based cleaning products and thus has no side affects that could harm the health of people or the environment. As the name suggests, green cleaning is a natural formula for keeping your surroundings clean and fresh. Unlike factory-made, cleaning solutions and detergents, green cleaning is totally free from all kinds of toxic chemicals.

More and more places like hospitals and nursing homes are implementing green cleaning as the safest cleaning process. The USA and European countries are using green cleaning in commercial areas like offices, markets and shopping centres that witness the presence of large numbers of people with different health conditions on a daily basis. It is also extremely beneficial to cleaning staff who work with cleaning agents on a daily basis.

Another major reason why people have largely accepted green cleaning is the availability and cheap cost of the items; lemon juice, vinegar, baking soda and washing soda are the most effective green cleaning product and are purchased at a much cheaper costs compared to toxic chemical-based solutions and detergents. You can apply these natural ingredients for cleaning anything in the office, home and leisure industry, without any kind of threat to your health minimise the risk of damage to your belongings.

Be it a home or an office, keeping carpets clean is by far the hardest cleaning task, no matter who you ask, your house cleaner or office cleaning company, I’m sure they will agree with me.

All carpets require a periodic carpet cleaning scheme, be it a residence or an office, bacteria, soil and grit are the major causes of wear and tear and this will reduce the carpet’s life.

For offices and other workplaces, a regular carpet cleaning program will increase the carpet’s life, but without a doubt carpet’s biggest enemies are stains, here are a few tips to remove them without damaging your carpet.

Beer Stains

Not very common in a workspace, but whoever hasn’t spilled beer on a carpet can throw the first can! Mop up the stain with a paper towel and sponge with warm water or soda water.

Wine Stains

You probably have heard this one before, to remove red wine stains simply pour white wine over fresh red wine stains or squirt with soda water. For white wine simply squirt with soda water.

Chewing Gum Stains

No doubt the most feared of all carpet stains, do it wrong and you damaged your carpet for good. So get a blunt knife and scrape up as much as you can, if the gum is still sticky place ice in a plastic bag around the gum to harden it and keep scrapping as much as possible. Apply carpet shampoo to the area and clean, wait until it’s dried them vacuum it off.

Coffee Stains

Very common both in an office or at home, blot with kitchen towel or similar, sponge with soda water, blot dry and repeat until the stain has gone.

Ink Stains

Another great enemy of carpets. Removing ink stains will depend on the type of ink. For ballpoint ink stains dry it up as quickly as possible. Dab with menthylated spirits or use a stain remover.

Fountain pen ink stains need to be diluted with soda water then mop up as much as possible. Make a hot solution of soapflakes and apply on the stain and leave it for 15 minutes then blot. Repeat the process until the stain disappears.

Fat, Oil, Grease or Candle Stains

Lay blotting paper or brown paper over the stain, place a cloth over the paper and apply a medium iron to draw the grease into the paper. You may need to follow this up with a good quality carpet shampoo. If the grease has penetrated into the pile, the stain may reappear weeks later as it seeps upwards, requiring further treatment.

Tar Stains

Another nasty carpet stain that if incorrectly removed can damage the carpet for good. First, scrape the excess tar off, make a solution of equal parts of glycerine and water, apply and leave it for an hour then rinse it with water. Again repeat the process till the stain in completely gone.

There are other types of carpet stains, but to cover them all would turn this post into a book! If you have a better technique to remove the above carpet stains, or would like to share another carpet stain removing tip, please don’t hesitate to share them with us and our readers.

The cleaning industry is one of the few areas bucking the recession with around 45,000 jobs available at any one time.

In fact the number is more likely to be 60,000 when including part time domestic jobs.

Andrew Large of the Cleaning and Support Services Association explains: “The cleaning industry has an advantage when there’s an economic downturn – after all – it is essential.”

No matter what happens you still need clean hospitals, schools and offices.”

He continues: “With the presence of swine flu too, the importance of hygiene is becoming more and more apparent.

The cleaning industry employs at least one million people, meaning the number of vacancies is naturally high as people come and go.”

Mr Large adds: “I know one man who started out as a carpet cleaner in his teens and now has a £50million business. If you’re prepared to work hard there are plenty of opportunities.”

It’s also a good industry if you want a stable job or career.

But if you yourself are looking for a fantastic contract cleaning company then Total Clean offer bespoke cleaning services. For more information please visit our website.

Have you ever taken anytime to consider how many germs there are lurking in your keyboard or on your telephone dashboard?? If you did I think you’d find yourself not wanting to touch either again.

Not only is it hygenic to maintain a clean computer, but you could also prevent so many illnesses that could occur due to the germs lying in the machines.

It could also add years to the life of your computers and telephones, as not cleaning it could lead to it getting damaged.

Jonathon Millman, chief technology officer for Hooplah Interactive says:
“Your computer could fry if you don’t keep it clean.”

According to Microsoft at home, this is because when dust clogs the vents behind your computer, your CPU heats up—and heat is the biggest cause of component failure in computers.

But, don’t just go and get your nearest polish or cleaning products!! You need to be careful what use on your electrical equipment beacuse it can be damaged with the wrong products.

If you are not sure what to use, Total Clean Services Ltd offers bespoke computer and telephone equipment cleaning, for more information please contact us.

You probably feel embarrassed when a client comes to visit you. It is said that a cluttered office is the sign of an unorganized, cluttered mind and this leaves a bad impression on clients.

A dusty and disorganised office affects your health as well. You and your colleagues can attract allergies to dust and become run down as you feel stressed when you cannot find particular file; this wastes valuable time. Here are some easy and practical tips to unclutter your work space to enable cleaning staff to clean your office effectively and offer you and your staff to work smarter.

Organize your office space

First, organize the office file cabinets and drawers. Try not to duplicate files for everyone but keep a common area for storage. Archive as many files as required. Neatly and clearly label files according to a system chosen by you. You can label drawers according to their content. After that you and all staff should be able to find all files easily when you need them and return them to their designated place.

Prioritize work every morning. It will help you focus on the task at hand.

Your desk can be the playground for germs. You and others can easily catch flu or other nasty diseases from things like phones or computer which other people also touch or use. You can use special cleaning cloths for phones and keyboards and monitors, make sure you use for correct one for each piece of equipment Do not spray directly over the electronic goods.

So these are the things you should deal with personally. Other areas, like floors, windows, cabinets, kitchen and bathroom will need special attention of a professional cleaning company like Total Clean , especially if you are in London and surrounding areas.

There is no doubt that littering is a constant problem around the streets of Britain and that one of the reasons for this could be because a parents tend to clean up for their children.

This is the normal thing to do, but not making our kids clean up for themselves could lead to them littering in the future.

But the question is how do we get children to clean for themselves without seeing it as a chore? Well below I have suggested two games that could help make cleaning seem more fun.

Pacman cleaning game – The child is challenged to collect all the rubbish in the park or environment they are in including papers, plastics, cans and bottles. They then throw them on the right rubbish bins separating biodegradable from non-biodegradable and then teach their friend or sibling to recycle. This is a simple game but teaches your child to dispose of rubbish properly.

Cleaning marathon game – There are two teams involved in this game, each member of the team must is to accomplish a certain chore while running around a pole, like a mop or brush – this can help to see cleaning objects as something fun.

Cleaning games can help introduce children to cleaning in a positive way rather than just a chore they have to do. They are then able to see it as fun as well as rewarding.

However, when you are not able to get the children helping out with all the cleaning duties or simply need a contract cleaning service, you’ll need to contact Total Clean Services Ltd.

We offer bespoke cleaning services from office cleaning London to waste removal.

The Conservative MP Andrew Mitchell claimed £19,000 worth of expenses on cleaning and decorating his home, it has been revealed.

He spent nearly £12,000 between 2004-05 and 2007-08, including £2,500 on decorating his home and £2,650 on a new boiler.

Mr Mitchell also claimed over £9,000 for cleaning and maintaining the garden at his second home, including a £220 bill for “gardening and shrubbery removal”.

Last night, Mr Mitchell said: “The £2,000 monthly rate that I claim is less than the cost that I have incurred maintaining my second home and is less than the amount I would have been entitled to claim.”

The MP added that the costs for gardening were just for maintenance and, in the nine years since he bought the house, it had been necessary to carry out “repairs, redecorations and renewals” and to buy “a small amount of furniture”.

With a salary of £64,766 a year, Andrew Mitchell claimed £22,831 in 2007/8 on his second home.

Despite this being disgraceful behaviour from the MP, Total Clean would be more than happy provide cleaning services to the Parliament offices in the future, (but perhaps this time they could refrain from claiming it on their expenses).
