Here are some tips on how to clean your car effectively:
- Cleaning your car at home is not only the most cost effective, but it’s also great exercise. Hose the car down, then clean the car starting with the roof and working your way down the sides with hot soapy water and a sponge.
- Once the outside of the car is sparkly, you can begin cleaning the interior. Give the floor and the seats a good vacuum and clear out all those crumbs and dirt, and polish those sideboards.
- Put a waste bin in a convenient place in your car (preferably hidden) to put your rubbish in and safe your car smelling bad.
- Finally, finish of the wash by investing in an air freshener this will complete the clean and leave your car smelling fragrant.
Cleaning Staff Guarantee Should Be Brought in to Hospitals, Says Unison
April 15, 2008 Posted by Administrator in : News , 1 comment so farUnison, who represents a range of staff including nurses, cleaners and porters, said hospitals should have 2 cleaners for every 30 patients.
Hospitals should be cleaned from 8am to 9pm to try and fight super-bugs such as MRSA, but the government said cleaning was too complex to have specific quotas.
The union have complained of there being no minimum staffing levels for cleaners or times for the hospital to be cleaned. They also believe that they need to use the whole hospital team if they are going to fight the super-bugs.
Unison’s head of health, Karen Jennings, said: ‘Cleaning staff are frustrated because they know which cleaning products are effective, what equipment they need, how many staff it takes to really clean a ward well, but they are rarely consulted or listened to.’
She continues: ‘It should be a requirement that all NHS organisations have safe minimum staffing levels for their cleaning services that are based on quality, not cost, and with staff receiving proper, up to date training and equipment.’

Tips For Keeping Your Bedroom a Clean Restful Environment
April 3, 2008 Posted by Administrator in : Cleaning Advice , add a commentIsn’t it just the best feeling when you go to your bedroom and it’s clean, tidy and you get in to a freshly made bed. So why I ask do we so often live in a bedroom full of clutter?
And if like me you find it dfficult to maintain a clean, tidy room. Then here are some tips to helps you along:
- Keep the dirty clothes that cause a great deal of the mess in your room, so invest in a good cleaning basket and if possible have separate ones for your different clothes i.e. one for underwear and one for casual wear.
- Once you have accomplished organising your dirty laundry it’s time to sort out your clean items, I guarantee that at least a third of the clothes in your wardrobe are never worn. So be strict with yourself and get rid of anything you don’t wear. Then organise your remaining clothes in order that suits you best i.e. trousers, tops, jackets that kind of thing.
- It is useful to have a study area in one area of your room, to keep any studying materials and electronic equipment in and also ensure all your reading materials are organised and put away in bookshelves or something similar.
- Finally it is important that your bed itself is kept clean and clutter free to ensure you have a completely rested night’s sleep.
Once you make these changes your room will be a more relaxing environment and being organised will save you a lot of time in the long run.
So get cleaning!
